It is quite ironic to say for someone who wore glasses for such a long time, I remember vividly the year where I started wearing eyeglasses – it was the year of the dog, 2006.
Yes, for 15 long years I suffered from poor eye-sight. My eyeglasses became my constant companion, I wore them every time and any time of the day – sometimes even forget to take them off after a long day at work. I thought I’d need to wear them forever.
Eye Consultants gave me hope! Thanks to their Ultra Lasik surgery, I was able to gain back my vision, just like how they were before! April 11, 2021, it has been 10 days since then, but I can’t believe how the 10-minute painless treatment could change my life forever.
I couldn’t thank the doctor, Dr. Sherif Hassan Emerah who supervised the surgery, the head nurse, Ms. Maricel, and of course, also to all the friendly and approachable staff who assisted me until the very end.
Sometimes I’d wake up looking for my glasses out of habit only to remember that I don’t need them anymore – I would be able to see faces, nature, and everything clearer without the help of my eyeglasses!

I came across Eye Consultants through researching online. Immediately went for the initial free consultation with Dr Sherif and went for initial screening through different machines and was eligible for the Femto Lasik Contura vision which I wanted to go for since it’s the latest tech available for eyes. Just like any other patient I had my own anxieties and fears for going to a new clinic without any reference but I found the environment very helpful and welcoming right from the reception through the doctor. Today is my third day post surgery and my eyes are slowly healing to complete normalcy.
I must say the entire process was very seamless and the people at the clinic were very professional. The only room for improvement I would suggest is that on the day of surgery it would be better to inform the tentative structure and timelines pre-surgery . But I think compared to positives this would be negligible.
Once again big thumbs up to the entire team for changing my life as my vision has improved above the normal 6/6. Will surely recommend everyone and five stars to the whole reception team for such a welcoming approach to clients. It surely matters.

I decided to come to Eye Consultants to check about my vision, because I was tired about my glasses and my eyes were hurting. I couldn’t even wear contact lenses so I decided to do the Femto lasik with Dr Sherif. I was a bit nervous at first but after the surgery everything went very well and now I can see much better. This is long overdue but I have been wanting to share how much I love the LASIK surgery from Eye Consultants Dubai.
I have been wearing glasses for the past 7 years. I had a hard time with contacts.
I never thought I was a candidate for the surgery as I had a stigmatism. But Dr. Sherif Amera told me differently.
The surgery was easy and quick and so was the recovery.
I feel like a new person and love that I don’t need any glasses or contacts.
It is complete freedom.

I decided to go for Femto Lasik Surgery in Eye Consultants Clinic, I suffered since years from severe
Myopia (-4.50), and I was really surprised how fast & painless it was.
Only for 3 hours approximately my vision was not comfortable which is normal after the surgery as per my Doctor Sherif Emerah .
One week now and I finally can see clearly no need for eye glasses or lenses, I’m really so happy and satisfied with the results.
I don’t regret the decision to do the Femto Lasik surgery at all, also I highly recommend Eye Consultants Clinic to everyone for a better vision.

I am patient of Dr Sherif. I had my Femtolasik surgery yesterday. I am now one day after the surgery and feeling amazing. It was a very quick recovery and I feel like my vision is almost completely returned. I have been wearing contact lenses for the past 15years and finding it very difficult especially living in Dubai with dusty conditions, a lot of itchiness and irritability. So, it’s my decision to have the LASIK done and I feel like it was a best decision I have ever made. Of course, naturally as anyone would be I was quite nervous but Dr Sherif and Nurses made me feel very comfortable, very much ease and everything was easily explained and I have a had a wonderful recovery. So, the best decision I have ever made.

I had Femtolasik surgery here at Eye Consultants. My problem was that I was wearing contact lens for many years. One of my eye was weak and other one was stronger. So, I had different settings with my eyes. But we managed to correct my vision and I can read with my right eye and I can see far with my left eye, just like before. And its very good, very quick recovery and I have been very happy with the result.
